Your journey begins with a simple conversation! Reach out through the contact form or send me a text, and we’ll schedule your first session. 2. How long do therapy sessions last?

Each therapy session lasts one hour. This time is dedicated solely to you, ensuring we dive deep into the heart of what matters most on your journey. Whether we’re tackling mountains or navigating valleys, we’ll make the most of our time together.

3. What should I expect during my first session?

Your first session is like setting foot on a new trail—exciting, yet full of possibilities. We’ll take time to get to know each other, discuss your goals, and map out your path ahead. Don’t worry about having all the answers right away; this is your journey, and we’ll go at your pace, with Harley and me by your side every step of the way.

4. How often do I need to attend therapy?

The pace of your adventure is entirely up to you! Most people find that weekly sessions help them stay on track, but we can adjust based on your needs. Whether you prefer a steady climb or need some space to process between sessions, we’ll create a rhythm that works for you.

5. Do you accept insurance?

While I don’t accept insurance directly, I can provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits, helping you access reimbursement for therapy services. I am a provider for Second Wind Fund and Crime Victim’s Compensation so I can provide payment-assisted therapy in some cases.

6. What types of therapy do you offer?

I offer a range of adventurous tools to help you on your path, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy (with Harley!), trauma-focused therapy, and more. Each one is designed to meet you where you are and help you build the mental and emotional resilience you need to thrive.

7. Do you offer virtual therapy?

Yes! Whether you're hiking through the woods of life or need to meet from the comfort of your home base, virtual therapy brings the healing to you. We’ll meet face-to-face through a secure online platform, wherever you feel most comfortable.

8. Is group therapy right for me?

Group therapy is a powerful way to connect with others who are facing similar challenges. It’s like joining a supportive team on a shared expedition—together, we’ll climb higher, learn from each other, and build strength in numbers. If you’re looking for a community of support, group therapy could be a great fit.

9. What happens if I need to cancel a session?

Life can sometimes throw unexpected obstacles in your path. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give me a 24-hour notice to avoid a cancellation fee. This helps keep the trail clear for others who are ready to begin their own journey.

10. How do I know if therapy is right for me?
